In one week my Dad went from walking talking fairly understanding strawberry and cream chocolate waffle ice cream loving down beard goth like blood running down serviette laughing wipe down 

to

bedridden arm clenching eah eah shaking picking sheets eah eah arm clenching sheets eah eah picking clenching eah eah eah 

sleep

and I get asked every day how he is hows he doing where is he at is he there for long permenantly I’m 83 got one lung got no interests hows he doing

count yourself fucking lucky!
